Fishing the Dam and Dry Arm
If you are interested in fishing the Dam (Town of Fort Peck) or Dry Arm (Rock Creek), I do have a guide that operates out of that area.
Trevor Haddix is my Guide on the Eastern side of the Fort Peck Reservoir. His website covers this area well, and you can call or e-mail Trevor if you wish to book a fishing trip for the Dam or Dry Arm.
The East side of the Lake (Dam and Dry Arm) has excellent fishing for all Fort Peck species. This area also adds the Dredge Cuts below the Dam as potential angling options, especially when wind can make the big lake scary. The Dredge Cuts produce Walleye, Sauger and Northerns on a regular basis.
The Dam area is where the majority of the Chinook Salmon fishery takes place and Trevor is an excellent Salmon guy. Just take a look at his bio.
While staying in the historic Town of Fort Peck, be sure to visit the Fort Peck Interpretive Center located below the Dam at the powerhouse. There is also the historic Fort Peck Theatre with productions running regularly throughout the summer.
When contacting me for a booking out of the Dam / Dry Arm area, please specify in your correspondence that you wish to book for that area or book directly with Trevor. Thank you!
