The 10.5-pounder on the left and the 11-pounder on the right helped Bernie and C.B. Schantz, his partner, to a 40.76-pound, five-walleye weight on the first day on their way to a 57.22-pound two-day total as they won the championship of the 2003 Jordan/Hell Creek Walleye Tournament.
