Fishing the Dam and Dry Arm

The East side of the Lake (Dam and Dry Arm) has excellent fishing for all Fort Peck species. This area also adds the Dredge Cuts below the Dam as potential angling options, especially when wind can make the big lake scary. The Dredge Cuts produce Walleye, Sauger and Northerns on a regular basis.

The Dam area is where the majority of the Chinook Salmon fishery takes place.

While staying in the historic Town of Fort Peck, be sure to visit the Fort Peck Interpretive Center located below the Dam at the powerhouse. There is also the historic Fort Peck Theatre with productions running regularly throughout the summer.
